I have installed LMDE and cannot get my wireless to work. Broadcom is installed according to synaptic but it does not turn on. I am accustomed to activating drivers as was done in mint 7, 8, and 9 but I don't understand what to do here. Thank you for your help.

Thanks Vincent. I never got it going for some reason. I did a fresh install of Mint 9 and it works like a charm. I really wish the install were like the other Mint editions where hardware drivers are concerned. I have never had any problems with it before.
