i have an acer 5102 laptop with the built in webcam i was wondering how to make it work and what application to use for it caer has an orbicam program for windows help everything else works great sound usb speakers oh yeah and how to make my canon selphy 510 photo printer to print properly any sugestions thanks

I saw some interesting posts. My Acer doesn't have webcam so I can't help you.

use: lsusb
and look for something like this:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0ac8:307b Z-Star Microelectronics Corp.
search with Google for ID, if there is a driver
