D Link DBT-112 installation ,assist pls

Hello, I would appreciate any help with installing the bluetooth device from D-Link .It says that it is for windows maybe because of all the added apps on the disk too. I have tried it within wine to no success .

I tried installing it on onther pc that has windows on it and i could'nt manage that either,it kept asking if i Really wanted to install ..etc that i should'nt ..,red lights flashing .. It came in a box with it's disk..

It can't possibly be such a Bad device to install on a machine ,.

I tried changing the permissions to read only but that was'nt quite open ,meaning wine could'nt access it.. i had to change it to read& delete just to get it to trash from home ,& desktop.
I should add that that was on the Ubuntu environment, but that is i think the same thing as Mint9 +- . Danke,

I have found that not only does it run on All the machines OS's but there' s a good link to Linux 4hardware .. google ,what would i do without U?..
