Changing video drivers in Isadora

I'm using Isadora. The onboard video worked fine. I installed an Asus nvidia card and it worked fine too. I used the generic drivers which worked ok and then I installed the nonfree proprietary drivers which also worked fine. When I removed the Asus card and went back to the onboard video on my Gigabyte MB, YouTube full screen crashed in both Firefox and Chrome (both reported a plugin problem which couldn't be). I have since reinstalled Isadora to correct the problem, but I was hoping to get a less drastic solution to my problem. The 389 updates slowed me down :(.

If only you would have followed the following steps . . :P

1) Open the Hardware Drivers application, and click the de-activate button.

then shut down your computer to remove the video card . . .

Thanks for the reply. I don't think that I will put myself in that position again. Nice to know that there is a solution. I even went into the recovery mode to try and fix the problem with no success, but being a newbie, I was in uncharted territory. That Asus card didn't do me any favors, it actually decreased the overall performance in Windows 7! Got the card for cheap and it was worth every penny :) The onboard video works great for me. I'm not a gamer.
