Possibly Fried Video Card
Whenever I try to turn on the computer the whole monitor just flashes like crazy. I know there is nothing wrong with the monitor since I have tried it on 2 other computers with no problems. I also tried 2 other monitors on the same computer and again whenever I turn the computer on the monitor flashes like crazy. Am I right to assume the Video Card got fried?

Could be driver related. Did you just install a new version of Mint? Which version are you running? What graphic card do you have? Too many variables to pin it down just yet.

No. Its a dual boot of XP and Isadora. Not sure. My grandfather called me today and asked me these questions and told me what he did.bobcollard wrote:Could be driver related.
