After installing the nvidia_current proprietary driver i restart the system. Upon booting up, i am greeted with this message.
Ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode

(EE) No Drivers Availible
Now im a bit of a linux noob; i messed around about 2 years ago on Ubuntu 7 going through my operating systems class, but decided to quit and go back to windows after i couldnt get the ATI drivers to install then. I want to run Linux, just need to get these drivers and 3d acceleration working.
