When trying to mount a USB harddisc in Daryna KDE I get this error:
hal-storage-removable-mount-all-options refused uid1000.

But it works in daryna Gnome. (the disc mounts automatically here, and safe removal is possible)

This is a well known unfortunate bug in a lot of Linux distros
Possibly the second post in this thread has a solution for you.
UID 1000 is the super user (the first you added)

Thank you Husse. One of the tips helped for me:

Right clicking the icon for the USB disk at my desktop
Choose Properties
Under the mounting tab uncheck "Mount as user"
Click OK
Again right click the device
Choose Mount

OK now I can access my USB disk.

Does this have something to do with the user rights?

I guess so :)
Have to check what really happens to know for sure.
This is something like post number 30 for today - quite normal day - so I don't have much time to check and this post is soon on page 3 of my posts :)
