HI there i bought a asus g73 laptop today and instantly wiped windows put mint on... ive got everything working except for the keyboard backlight... Ive scoured google and cant seem to get it to work...
Im still pretty noobish to linux but if someone could help id be grateful..

You might try acpi_backlight=vendor as a kernel parameter, otherwise https://launchpad.net/asus-keyboard-backlight might help.
