BK101 Bluetooth Keyboard

Postby mwic on Mon Oct 10, 2011 10:43 am

If anyone has ever successfully paired this keyboard with Lx Mint, I'd love to hear from you. I've tried the GNOME applet and blueman-manager several times, almost every permutation of Search,Add, Trust, Setup, and Pair that you can think of.

What I assume would be the correct procedure (in Blueman manager):
1. Search
2. Keyboard appears, hit Setup
3. "Use random Passkey" and Forward
4. A number appears and I type it on the BK101 then hit enter
5. Message: "Failed to add device". Sometimes this appears quickly, before I can type anything, and sometimes it takes 10 seconds or so (during which I type the number and press enter)

(Errors in Terminal log from this are below)

NB:
I have an LG android that pairs fine, so bluetooth in general works.
I have also paired the keyboard successfuly with a MacBookPro on the desk right next to my Linux Mint netbook, so the keyboard is fine.

If I try the "Create Pairing" icon i get an error status (in blueman-manager, not terminal)
Page Timeout

If I try the Add icon, I get an error status, but no text in it

================================terminal during device setup procedure:
During this time, the terminal in which I started bluman-manager is logging lots of stuff, what I think might be relevant is :
