HP Mini 2133 - battery problem

Hi,

I just installed Linux Mint 11 on an HP Mini 2133. As soon as I unplug the power, it says the battery is at 0% and starts to hibernate.
Now this laptop is dual booting with Windows XP, and XP has no problem running off the battery.

I also tried Kubuntu which also has no problem with running off the battery, so I know it's not the laptop itself.

Any ideas out there? It would be greatly appreciated as I find Mint is my distro of choice, and I've tried about 12 of them!!!
