Genius VideoCam Eye Problem

please help!!!! i'm gonna kill myself, i'm gonna drink a poison, shoot myself in the head, hang and burn myself etc.

my genius videocam eye was working for about half a minute, and then suddenly died. i have installed gspca drivers, and everything seemed to be
allright, i have started cheese and it was ok. but, when i started xawtv, screen went black and i had to restart computer. after that, my poor little web camera isn't working. BOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

btw, when i do 'lsmod | grep gspca i get

when i do lsusb, i get

any ideas? driver seems to be ok, but what is wrong?

The camera is there and the driver seems ok
Can you get images in some other application than cheese?

no...when i start xcam, the screen goes black and i have to restart computer...all other programs complain that they
cannot find any web camera (!)
