Unable to mount GPS device

Postby jochenw on Thu Sep 06, 2012 2:47 am

I'd like to mount a GPS device in order to store maps. Doesn't work, though. Here's the relevant excerpt from syslog:

Code: Select all
Sep  6 08:44:39 tarqeq kernel: [ 2104.157320] usb 4-5: USB disconnect, device number 3
Sep  6 08:44:43 tarqeq kernel: [ 2108.100389] usb 4-1: new full-speed USB device number 4 using ohci_hcd
Sep  6 08:44:43 tarqeq mtp-probe: checking bus 4, device 4: "/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:12.0/usb4/4-1"
Sep  6 08:44:44 tarqeq mtp-probe: bus: 4, device: 4 was not an MTP device

Any ideas?

Thanks, Jochen
