I do remember the vista raid being able to read separately on this set up ... I'll pull the plug on one drive and check out if hat you say is true!
If it is then the problem will solve it's self but taks quite a while to backup 500G so not really looking forward to that!
Hardware raids cost a bomb still which is a shame . Plus the fact I would have to leave the PC on at night just to make a back up
Oh well lets hope all this comes to a happy end.
