Hi,
I am runing LinuxMint 11, HP LaserJet 1012 with the latest HPLIP 3.12.6, CUPS 1.4.6.
When I try to print jpg files sent by my clients (copy of their personal documents) - and it does not matter if 50 kb or 500 kb file - I get the same error message and nothing is printed.
PCL XL error
Subsystem: IP
Error: InsuficcientMemory
Operator: 0x46
Position: 52
The computer has 4 GB RAM, so I do not know what kind of memory is short for the printing.
I cannot remember when this problem started, what triggered it.
Can someone shed some light here?
Thank you.
Thelma

Re: PCL XL error InsufficientMemory
For me, using the "hpijs" driver instead of the "hpcups" one solved the problem with printing some images -- https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28488 .
Also, consider this advice (similar in spirit): "If possible, use a PCL5 driver and avoid the PCL6 driver." -- http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 538AAoN3oy
