Lexmark Prevail Pro705 Print Prob Mint 14 (Solved)

The Lexmark Prevail Pro705 64 bit drivers from 9-6-12 did not work with Mint 14 Cinnamon 64 bit.
I installed an older package and printing and scanning work over wired and wireless connections.
USB connection, however, still does not function. I suspect that misspellings in the installation script
e.g. (“Demon” ?????) may be the culprit but usb function is not an issue for me so I didn't pursue this.

Open terminal at file location:

Sudo dpkg -i lexmark-inkjet-legacy-wJRE-1.0-1.amd64.deb

p.s. The printer is slow to configure itself but works fast enough once set up.
