HP Laserjet m1217nfw

Anyone get the HP Laserjet m1217 working with Mint 14?

I bought the printer just a few months ago because it was listed as supported with Mint 13.

Now I updated the OS and it doesn't work. :-(

I when to http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/laserjet/hp_laserjet_professional_m1217nfw_mfp.html and downloaded and installed HPLIP from there, and it doesn't seem to find the printer when it's attached via USB.

The device does show up when I list lsusb:

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Did you unplug and replug in the printer,? Sometimes that works. Also unplug and replug in the USB cable or dongle if its a wi fi one.

Yes. I tried unplugging and replugging the printer. The printer shows up under 'lsusb', so I would think it's seen by the OS.

Bump
