Canon ImageClass MF4150 problem

Post by admiralsboy888 »

I purchased a used Canon ImageClass MF4150. I installed the driver from the driver database on Canon's site. Data gets sent to the printer, but it does not print! Canon Tech Support was no help - although they have the driver, they don't support Linux because it has so many distros. System info: Acer Aspire 5315 notebook; 2 gb RAM; 120 gb hd; Mint 12; printer connected through USB port. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I am using 32 bit. No major hurry. I bought the unit to use mainly as a copier, but I would like to be able to print with it as it would be cheaper than using the inkjet that is in the household.
