Epson WP-4530 not detected on network

Title says it all. MInt14 KDE 64-bit. This all-in-one printer works fine from this same machine from PCLinuxOS and from other machines on the network using pclos,
XP and Win7. Networked thru a D-Link router. In pclos the scanner works also, with XSane--have not tried it in Mint. I have downloaded the Epson driver, but without detection, I don't know what good it does.
