need help with a canon ip2600 printer

Hi, im new to linux. Im running Linux Mint 14 with gnome 3.6 shell on top. Im tring to set up my canon ip2600, i was able to download the drivers and install them through the teriminal but when i try to print something it just says print complete but does not actully print anything out. Any kind of help anyone could give me would be great, thanks again.

perhaps we just check what drivers you have installed

if you please copy and paste this command

sudo dpkg -l | grep cnijfilter

and copy and paste back the result: if you subscribe to a thread, "NOtify me when a reply is posted" ........tick below....... it may help you

did you install 32bit?
