Hi. I've got a desktop and a laptop, both of them with Linux Mint as OS.
The desktop is cable-connected to a router and the laptop has a wi-fi connection to it. The desktop computer is also connected to a laser printer, a Brother HL-2130.
What I can always do is printing documents from the desktop computer.
What I can seldom do is printing documents from the laptop computer (of course the desktop is always switched on when I try to print from the laptop), because the printer is often missing in the list of printers (i.e. I can only print files as PDF documents). Then, without an apparent reason, sometimes the printer magically appears again and I can happily print lots of wonderful sheets!
Is there a possible explanation? Are there any log files that I can read to understand what's going wrong?
Thanks.
