Epson XP-212 scanner[SOLVED}

Hi all, I'm new to Linux Mint and have been to the Epson down load center and down loaded the printer driver but am unable to get the scanner to work. Can anybody help please.

Welcome to the Linux Mint forum.

You will have to download the appropriate scanner files - there are 2.

For 32 bit systems:
iscan-data_1.29.0-2_all.deb
iscan_2.29.3-1~usb0.1.ltdl7_i386.deb

For 64 bit systems:
iscan-data_1.29.0-2_all.deb
iscan_2.29.3-1~usb0.1.ltdl7_amd64.deb

Install the iscan-data file first.

If that appears not to work after you install it, reboot. If it still appears not to work, verify that you are a member of the scanner group.
