how can I see the levels of INK on a Epson Stylus c45 :?:

do I need some special software :?: :?:

There is a package mtink in synaptic. There is also a command line tool called escputil.

No that is the problem I have had with Mtink. It does not display my Machine on the list.

If you open synaptic and download the other file I mentioned escputil and in a terminal enter

Code: Select all

 sudo escputil --ink-level --raw-device /dev/usb/lp0
it will show the percentages of ink.

This assumes the printer is usb connected.
