[RESOLVED] Help required installing Epson SX420W printer

Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon 32-bit
Network Printer/All-in-one: Epson SX420W

I am unable to add this printer.

Terminal command /usr/sbin/lpinfo -v borrowed from another thread gives:

Add Printer from Menu finds network printer, but installation hangs and won't complete.

Add Printer from Synaptic Package Manager fails with error

Attempting to download direct from Epson and install with GDebi Package installer gives:

With my very limited noob Linux knowledge, I'm out of ideas.

Any suggestions please?

This has happened on a second machine as well

The problem appears to be the lsb version, which I don't know how to resolve.

Any ideas please?

I seem to have resolved this.

I followed the advice here http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=193699

and installed printer-driver-escpr

Then when I went to add the printer from Menu > Administration > Printers, the installation sequence was different from previous and installed the Printer without issue.
