must reinstall linux wireless drivers every boot

Hi all!

I've been using my Rosewill RNX-MININ1 with ndiswrapper. The connection is decent at best and likes to disconnect.

Recently I found a driver upgrade here: http://rosewill.com/products/1777/Produ ... wnload.htm

I downloaded the linux drivers from the bottom (dated May 10) and did an install using the (install.sh) script.

The install goes fine and the device automatically connects and screams! It never gets kiscked off and hasn't been below 95% (with ndiswrapper and windows drivers was never above 70%).

The problem: Every time I restart the box there is no wireless. I have to re-install the drivers using the install script! Major PITA!

Is there something I'm missing to the install? The script tells me everything installed fine.

Pardon my ignorance. Thanks in advance for educating me.

Hey,

have you set the permissions correct? Before you run the install make sure to do a sudo chmod a+x install.sh and afterwards run it again.

I tried that but to no avail. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I created a folder in my home directory and run it from there. Do I need to have it anyplace specific before I run it?

It's very strange, it installs and activates the antenna, but does not keep it saved or memorized for later use.
