While connected via ethernet,
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter firmware-b43-installer
When it finishes, then just
Code: Select all
sudo modprobe b43
Wait a few minutes, connect and enjoy.

I have a question. I need each time type "sudo modprobe b43" to start the wireless? How I fix that to start automatically? My laptop is a Compac Presario f500, and it have a switch to start the wireless. It allways is ON. tnks
