The Debian Cinnamon torrent iso is complete.
The coffee shop is closed.
I stopped the the Lisa Gnome and Gnome + MATE and exited Bit Torrent.
I am going to take a nap and if I have the energy I will turn on the laptop and burn one of the isos on a disk and then install on the Dell 1gb ram laptop.

The Intel 5300 card is the same as I have in my Lenovo laptop and as I mentioned in the other thread you posted in, the only way I could get to the net was by installing wicd and uninstalling Network Manager.
sudo apt-get install wicd
sudo apt-get remove network-manager
sudo apt-get install wicd
sudo apt-get remove network-manager
