I am going to apologize upfront for this question, but I have researched for a couple hours on google, and on this forum, and I have tried some stuff, but nothing has worked.
So when I go to Network Connections, no wireless networks are available, and I have tried to add a network and it did not work, and I tried to install some drivers with some commands I found on another website, but that did not work. So here is the output of some of my commands....
lamborghini@lamborghini ~ $ inxi -N
Network: Card-1 Broadcom BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY driver wl
Card-2 Marvell 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller driver sky2
lamborghini@lamborghini ~ $ inxi -F
System: Host lamborghini Kernel 3.0.0-12-generic i686 (32 bit) Desktop Gnome Distro Linux Mint 12 Lisa
Machine: System Dell (portable) product Inspiron 1545
Mobo Dell model 0G848F Bios Dell version A14 date 12/07/2009
CPU: Dual core Pentium CPU T4500 (-MCP-) cache 1024 KB flags (lm nx sse sse2 sse3 ssse3)
Clock Speeds: (1) 1200.00 MHz (2) 1200.00 MHz
Graphics: Card: Intel Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller
X.Org 1.10.4 drivers intel unloaded: fbdev,vesa Resolution 1366x768@59.6hz
GLX Renderer Mesa DRI Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset x86/MMX/SSE2 GLX Version 2.1 Mesa 7.11
Audio: Card Intel 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller driver HDA Intel Sound: ALSA v: 1.0.24
Network: Card-1 Broadcom BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY driver wl
So it seems like it is not a hardware problem because it recognizes the network card.....
What should I do next to connect to the internet?
