I'm using Mint Lisa 12 Gnome 64-bit edition.
I get troubles using my Bandluxe C278 broadband USB modem.
I've done some workaround and found that it works flawlessly if it's fortunately mapped on ttyUSB0 port.
However, when mapped on other port, i.e. ttyUSB2, connection fails, although the device is recognized properly and the GSM signal is received fine (it's shown on NetworkManager).
I'm attaching the example:

The only way I found meanwhile by try and error is unplug and plung it in to the USB once again, until I'm lucky to get it on ttyUSB0.
Then it reads:

It's quite frustrating to plug and unplug it, hoping that next time it would work. Any ideas how to make it work every time?
Thanks, Eli.
