Couldn't connect internet using WiFi tethering

Hi from my laptop (toshiba-640 with LinuxMint 12 LXDE), I couldn’t connect to network using wifi tethering with my android phone(android 2.3).
But I could connect with the same in windows and openSuse.
Please help.
