WiFi works on one network but not on an old and simple

Postby hannupuhakka on Sat May 12, 2012 3:28 pm

I installed Linux Mint several days ago. I can use wireless on my office wireless network, but on my home network it does not work. Network settings sees the right network (M/MW1122, old Nokia ADSL modem with wireless) The wireless network is functioning and can be used by Windows computers (Working Windows XP settings: Network Authentication: Open, Data encryption: Disabled).

sudo /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintWifi/mintWifi.py

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

What version of mint have you installed (inxi -S) and have you made any changes to any networking components or files?
[Edit] your original post and add [SOLVED] once your question is resolved.
