wlan interface unavailable - No wifi

Hi,
I'm new user of Linux MInt and I don have big knowledge of linux environment. It's a great experience.
I´ m using one old computer, Compaq tablet TR4400. All is ok except wifi and Bluetooth.
Wlan interface is Unavailable. I paste my Screen messages from mintWifi.py

Do you have mac filtering enabled in your wireless router? If so does the list of accepted mac addresses include the one for your Compaq wireless card.

If you don't understand any of that last sentence, then the chances are that you do not have mac filtering enabled, it will never be enabled by default, you have to do it yourself, and if you have done it yourself, you would understand the sentence. Unless of course somebody else set up your router for you and didn't tell you what they had done?
