Computer freezes when connected via wireless

Post by bhude »

I have recently installed Asus Pce-n53 wireless card on my computer. I had to install driver from Asus's website http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?S ... IS4hp6aWBW before any wireless network was detected. I can connect to wifi but my computer freezes when I try to access any thing over wifi. I can connect to internet fine via wired connection but my computer freezes the minute I switch to wifi. I cannot use mouse or keyboard.

I have searched the internet but I cannot find anyone else with similar problem. Can anyone please help me?

My system's details are as follows:

Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
utility, e.g. service smbd reload

Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
Upstart job, you may also use the reload(8) utility, e.g. reload smbd
