Currently, what will allow me to connect to wifi is issuing the following commands:
Code: Select all
sudo modprobe -r iwlagn
sudo modprobe iwlagn bt_coex_active=0
The post goes on to explain how to make the modification persistent across sessions but it doesn't work for me. It recommended creating a iwl.conf file with the following text: "options iwlagn bt_coex_active=0". After doing this and restarting, it still will not connect. I've also tried placing this text in a modprobe.conf file with the same result.
I assume this has something to do with the files in the modprobe.d directory being applied in a certain order on startup but I'm not sure what to name the file in order for it to be executed properly and with the highest priority. Any help would be appreciated. This problem will likely never go away but at the very least it would be nice if it wasn't a moving target.
