INTEL PRO/Wireless: Drivers needed?

Hello Folks,

I've installed Mint 13 MAYA on a Panasonic ToughBook CF-18 and I'm having difficulty with the wireless. It will connect to non-encrypted servers, but I can't get it to connect with the encryption turned on. I've tried WEP and WPA with no luck.

The wireless adapter in this model ToughBook is an INTEL PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter. Does anyone know if a special driver package is needed? Or will the package included with MAYA cover this hardware?

Everything else seems to be working (though I haven't tested the tablet functions yet).

Thanks...

No Intel drivers are included. See http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=114978 for the authentication issue.

That driver is over 8 years old! As I said Intel cards are built in, see http://intellinuxwireless.org/
