LM13 Cin & KDE Wifi on LD NoWifi post update

Hello Everyone,
I have a Toshiba Satalite p505d-s8930. when installing from a live disc the system finds and uses the wifi devices perfectly. I pick my home network, it asks for a password and connects.

If i upgrade/date the system via mint update the next boot finds the wireless device buggy. It will list my connections, I can see and select my home network. It shows up as a secure network (WPA). when i activate the connection it asks for a password attempts to connect and fails looping at the password, however ive entered the exact password shown on our router's security page. this happens with any mint i use.

I was wondering what could cause this, and can it be fixed. Thanks for reading ^.^
