Another wifi problem.

So I got linuxmint 13 for my lenovo ideapad s10-3 2 days ago, and the wireless worked out of the box. Now airplane mode is stuck on and after turning it off(which I don't know if does anything) i can't change the connection of the wireless. I got the most recent broadcom add. driver, ad my rfkill is;0: ideapad_wlan: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
1: ideapad_bluetooth: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
3: brcmwl-1: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: yes
i get the feeling it's the one yes hardblocked, but what do I do???

What model/type is your Broadcome device? Can you give us the output of this terminal command: lspci.
Also check this forum for solutions for Broadcom devices. You're not the first user who encountered problems and propably you're not the last person too...

It seems that this solution worked: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=115921&p=643182&hilit=BCM4313#p643205.

Next time if you have some issues, please take a look on this forum first to find a solution for your problem. There are many people before you posting the same problem with their software/hardware. And there's always a solution provided in those posts :wink:
