Wifi on a Dell Latitude D830 - BCM4311

Hi folks, hope someone can point me in the right direction to find some answers to my issue.
I have installed 64-bit Mint 14 w/ MATE on my previously WinXP Dell laptop. The issue I am having right off the bat is that the wired internet connection does work, but the wifi does not (it did work when running WInXP). Both the LED by the wifi power switch and the wifi indicator do not show any activity (both off all the time). I ran mintWifi and got the following:
nate@nate-Latitude-D830 ~ $ sudo /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintWifi/mintWifi.py
[sudo] password for nate:

Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
utility, e.g. service smbd reload
Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
Upstart job, you may also use the reload(8) utility, e.g. reload smbd

I am thinking I need to install a driver for the BCM4311. Can anyone point me to the correct software driver and how to install it? Am I going in the right direction? More info needed?
Thanks,
Nate
