Using the Alfa AWUS036H USB wireless adapter? And works out of the box.

Tho plagued with disconnects 1-6 times every 12 hrs. And Not reconnecting bugs of nm-applet.
As have iffy Wifi at times.

So changed to xfce for lighter desktop and it uses wicd tho still get an occasional disconnection.
Wicd successfully reconnects.Tho have no Tx power management to up Tx to 1000mw.
And stuck with the default 75% level I believe?
But that adapter has worked out of the box on Ubuntu 12.10,Mint 14 Cinnamon,Fuduntu,Voyager 12.10.
