syslink AE2500 ndiswrapper (MONITOR MODE NOT SUPPORTED)

Hi, im a student in computer engineering and im having troube setting up my wireless usb adabter "syslink AE2500" and im using linux mint 14 xfce, it works normally but i cant set up the monitor mode and the speed is so low (i need it in my studies for security tests and wireless network understanding) ..
can anyone help me with this ..can anyone help me ..
