Mint 14 keeps asking for wifi passphrase
Posted: Sun Jan 20, 2013 11:13 am
After following serval guides and posts on the forums I finally got Mint 14 to recognize my dreaded Netgear WNA3100 and it sees all of the wireless networks in the neighborhood fine it just will not let me connect to mine. It keeps asking for the passphrase which I know is correct. It is setup for WPA2. I have tried it with both Network Manager and wicd to no avail.

Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
utility, e.g. service smbd reload
Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
Upstart job, you may also use the reload(8) utility, e.g. reload smbd
