I thought it was only the demo that was buggy.....

.... But it turned out that Linux Mint does not recognize my network card. It's either that, or the drivers that help recognize it/work with it aren't there [I have a hunch that that finding some might be the solution, but i'm not sure]. If that does turn out to be the solution, how do I go about installing those drivers? should I use those that came with the PC, or are there other driver repositories for my network card?

Also, I'll spare you guys the pain of having you ask me for the ~ $ lspci output:

Oh, and before I forget, the >additional drivers bit in Software Sources lists some sort of driver, but says it doesn't work.

EDIT 2: It's running Cinnamon, as well.
