Previous install was BackTrack 5 (Ubuntu 10.04), and i couldnt get wireless going. Created several accts in various forums; was even told to stick to BT forum to get questions answered. Decided to give LM a try. Had wireless working once and no more. Havent seen any posts in this forum that might help so i decided to post. I'm using a Gateway pc with Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG controller. RFKILL shows no hard blks; the same issue was present when running BT; when i run: cat dmesg | grep wlan0, it shows link not ready. Installed linuxmint WiFi and ran command; output is shown. I've verified the pw for wireless WPA; all good. Appreciate any help i can get...thx
