wifi connection probs

i started another thread earlier but it's acting diff now so i'll start this thread. basically all other computers and even other OS's on the problem box are working. with the miny14 64bit live cd i can't connect wirelessy. sometimes it connects but soon as i go to a website it immediately drops connection every time. i have looked at ifconfig before opening a page and i have a ipv4 address and ipv6 address then i got to webpage it drops me right after i go to ifconfig again and i have an ipv6 address still but no ipv4. its as asus pce-n15 wireless card in my desktop and it works with windows in that box so its not the card per se. i would like to install mint14 on here but not until this issue is resolved
