"rfkill list" comes up with nothing

Postby shamusisaninja on Sat Apr 20, 2013 3:22 am

So I've been on a quest to get my wireless adapter to work(Broadcom BCM4312) which was a whole fun mess and after tracking down the right drivers and installing them I get to the final step check rfkill list to see if everything is working, however every time I try typing "rfkill list" or "rfkill list all" or others I get nothing just back at a black line on my terminal. I check and yes my wireless button is turned on so I have no idea why it won't recognize my adapter.

If you need anymore info please ask and possibly tell me how to get it since I am still very new to linux

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps
