Newbie - how to establish WIFI with Virgin Superhub

Post by martymcfly »

Hi
I'm completely new to LM (or any Linux) and have searched for help but not sure what I'm looking for. I have a wired ethernet connection but don't seem to establish WIFI. Can I please ask for help with this? Output of /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintWifi/mintWifi.py

You may want to clear out old/unused entries in your WiFi settings and then try to reconnect 'fresh' and re-input any passwords you need to connect to the WPA or WPA2 network.

In Linux Mint, network connections are stored in:
/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections

You need to open that directory as root (right click the folder and open as root) and enter your password in order to delete/remove any of the stuff in there. Be careful you open the files in gedit and look at what they have before you delete them. I personally just moved em to the trash in case I had to restore them later.

So do you mean that we will refresh and set it to default? Sorry, I am still new here.
