Hello,
I just installed LinuxMint 17.2 Cinnamon a few day ago everything seems to be working except Wifi. As a matter of fact, wifi did not work on a number of Live DVDs I tried include Mint, PCLinux, OpenSuse, and Mageia and this is a new laptop I bought about a month ago.
I did try suggestions from threads dated Sat. July 18, 2015 by moze229 and another dated Aug. 20, 2014 by Zorba. Neither worked for me.
I ran a cmd prompt: lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 net
03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4352 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter [14e4:43b1] (rev 03)
Subsystem: AzureWave Device [1a3b:2123]
04:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Qualcomm Atheros QCA8171 Gigabit Ethernet [1969:10a1] (rev 10)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device [1043:200f]
Kernel driver in use: alx
Need help enabling Wifi &/or installing drivers.

Hello Rene67 and welcome to Linux Mint,
Did you try using the additional driver utility found in System Settings > Administration?
if not give that a try first -- It should offer to install the correct driver for you card.
Broadcom cards don't have open source drivers so you have to use the Driver manager to install it.
Note: you will need a temporary ethernet wired connection to install the driver. Then reboot.
If the driver utility does not offer you any driver let us know .

Re: Need help with Wifi Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac
I got wifi working a few minutes after posting my thread for help. When I first installed Mint 17.2 I went to driver manager and selected the broadcom driver but it would not install. I'm pretty sure I tried that online. I'm thinking maybe I updated and got the right driver by following suggestions from thread: Before you post in here!

After that I went back to Driver Manager and selected Broadcom driver again and this time it installed. Wireless networks showed up after that including mine.
Thanks for responding.
