Hi all - I've searched similar topics but no solutions that I've found are working for me.
I'm new to Linux. I've got Mint 17.2 (64) running on a Dell Latitude e6420, Intel Centrino wireless card, driver iwlwifi.
It's been great except that once in awhile the wireless goes out. Today, it's gone out and I can't get it back up. When I restart the network manager, a box pops up and says "Disconnected you are now offline," which is what happens when it initially goes offline as well.
Some details:
* Sometimes it goes out while I'm using it.
* Sometimes it goes out after coming back from hibernate.
* Typically it's restarted with a simple reboot, no problem, but today, that doesn't work.
Can you help me figure out what I'm doing? I don't have an ethernet cable in my house but I do have access to the wifi network on another computer.
Thanks -
