Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

a linuxuser coverdisk
What's that?
The SSID or ESSID is the name the accesspoint uses to identify itself and the network password (this is really an inadequate description, but...) is the passphrase used to start WEP or WPA authentication

husse I was referring to issue 72 of linuxuser and developer magazine (http://www.linuxuser.co.uk} which had linux bianca 2.2 mounted on a coverdisk. This is what I am trying to configure to my belkin wireless. Thanks for clearing up those little niggles for me.
