D-Link DWA-160

Postby awsinclai on Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:31 pm

I'm trying to get my usb D-Link DWA-160 wireless adapter to work in linux mint 7. I've tried the windows wireless drivers application and I select my .inf file on the original install disc and it gives an error failed installation. I have a lan connection on the desktop so I was searching and found linux drivers on dlinks website for this however I couldn't get those working either; they only had rpm and targz files. Any other tips for me to try? I'm pretty new to Linux so any help is appreciated, when I installed Mint on my laptop it recognized the broadcom drivers after connecting to a lan that was easy.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
