Your Atheros AR9285 is setup and has the right driver enabled. Can you describe a bit more about the problem? Are you able to connect and not access the internet, or will it not even connect to your router? Do you see any networks available?

Any additional description of the problem will help us better understand what is or could be wrong.

There is a thread with a problem with the same wireless chip here but don't know if the OP has it working yet: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=75101&p=435656&hilit=AR9285#p435645

Can you open a terminal and paste back the results of
Code: Select all
sudo rfkill list
There are user reports in Ubuntu 11.04 with Atheros devices finding their systems soft or hard blocked. The soft block can normally be removed with
Code: Select all
sudo rfkill unblock all
but the hard block requires additional work to resolve. This will let us know if that's what is affecting your system.
